About The Role

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Summer Intern at Virtuollis, you will gain hands-on experience supporting real-world systems, internal tools, web applications, and software environments. This internship is designed for students who want practical exposure to cybersecurity concepts, secure systems thinking, and the day-to-day work that supports modern digital operations. In this role, you will contribute to projects involving platform security, user access, internal systems, and software-related risk awareness. You will work closely with active company systems and gain experience that can help strengthen your technical background, resume, and long-term career development. This internship is intended to provide meaningful experience and may lead to future internship opportunities or long-term employment consideration based on performance, growth, and company needs.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in identifying and documenting security risks across internal systems and web applications
  • Support reviews of authentication, access control, and account security practices
  • Help research and evaluate secure development and SaaS security best practices
  • Assist with vulnerability awareness, platform hardening ideas, and internal security improvement efforts
  • Support the review of security-related workflows for customer-facing and internal systems
  • Participate in documentation, technical notes, and security recommendations
  • Contribute to a learning-focused environment while gaining practical cybersecurity experience

What We're Looking For

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Forensics, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a similar field
  • Must be available to participate in the internship between June 1, 2026 and August 7, 2026
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity, secure systems, and real-world technical environments

  • Interest in cybersecurity and modern software environments
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technologies and concepts
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail
